Hey everybody!

So I know I’ve been sort of quiet since the “Grandpa’s Cases” series.

First I was dealing with a particularly brutal case of writer’s block. At one point, I had 26 Google Docs open with the first sentences of stories, and I couldn’t get another word out to save my life.

Then, on March 16th, I had surgery. Recovery from that surgery has kept me in a perpetual state of pain (although it’s getting a tiny bit better every day), through which I’ve found it difficult to focus.

What I have been able to do is get stuff done on a certain novel I’ve been working on. It’s going to be awesome, and it’s going to be scary. That much I promise you.

BUT ON THE MAIN POINT OF THIS UPDATE!

Firstly, let me just say, I hope all of you are safe and healthy during this chaotic time. Real life seems eerily like a horror story right now, and I hope all of you protagonists are making good, non-horror-movie-trope decisions as we all endure it.

To that end, if you are making good decisions, chances are you’re spending a lot of time at home. If that’s the case, you might be getting bored. If you’re getting bored, you might be looking for new movies or TV shows to watch, or new stories to read.

I’m going to begin using nickbotic.com as more than a platform for my horror stories.

You can start looking for listicles, movie and TV reviews, recommendations for movies and shows you might not have seen and stories you might not have read, and anything else I can think of to make nickbotic.com a place you’ll visit every day.

If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do to make the site better, please speak up! Other than that, just check back for the all new content!
