Hey all!
First off, let me apologize for the lack of content as of late. In addition to some personal issues needing my undivided attention, I’ve simply been dealing with the worst case of writer’s block I’ve had since I began writing with a goal in mind. However, that writer’s block was assuaged about two weeks ago!
In the last two weeks, I’ve begun crafting what will be my first standard novella. It is a story that takes place in a town called Glarus, but is unconnected from “A Halloween In Glarus” (click here to check it out!). I suppose they could cross over at some point, but I don’t have any plans for that, save for perhaps a mention, at this time. The work I’ve completed on the new story is work that I’m truly proud of. I’ve been taking my time, and I think the quality will really reflect the passion I have for this project. Another fun fact: It’s my first project that will be told entirely from a third-person perspective! As I’m sure you know, the lion’s share of my work has been told in the first-person, conforming to the rules fo the outlets on which I posted. I’m very happy working in the third person, as it offers a much wider range of detail and lets me really show off (what I consider to be) my writing prowess.
Furthermore, I’ve compiled a number of stories that you may have seen floating around the internet, as well as a few never-before-seen installments into an eBook! “An Ode To Terror: Tales Of Horror From The Mind Of Nick Botic” can currently be found on Amazon, and will be available elsewhere in the coming days, and you can get it now by clicking here! If you feel my efforts are worth $2.99, I hope you’ll consider checking it out!
I will be completing a few short stories in the next few weeks, which will of course be posted here. Just know that if there is a gap between my posts, it’s because I’m working on my novella, which I promise will NOT disappoint!
I truly thank you all for your continued support, it means more to me than you could ever know. Keep your eyes open for new work!
